SHAH ALAM-  A woman was found dead in with blood allegedly slashed newly rented house two days ago in the Bangunan PKNS  Seksyen 7,  near here.

The victim, identified as Zanariah Ishak, 28, was found lying on a mattress in a white t-shirt and pants interest by the public about 12pm.

Shah Alam District Police Chief ACP Muhammad Khairi Che Mustafa said, police received a call from a man at 12pm to inform about the incident.

"When he arrived at her house, found the door in the open with the lights on and we found the body of a woman in a supine position on the single mattress in the living room of the home.

"The victim was found in a white t-shirt and wearing black pants,” Khairi said.

"Examination of the bodies there were three wounds slashed at the front to the back of the stomach and back of victim’ body," he told to media here today.

According to Khairi, the results of further investigation revealed that the victim was divorced 5 years ago and  doesn’t have children.

He said that, based on interrogations with the nearest neighbors found the victim lived alone in the house and work in his father's workshop adjacent to rent the house.

"Initial investigations showed there was patterned to death for having believed slash committed by someone known to the victim. No weapons were found in the house, "he said.

He said police are conducting further investigations to establish the motive and other elements of the crime of murder as well as track the suspect.
